Terms of Service

By using this website, booking an appointment, or receiving a service from us, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book a session.

You must be 18 or older to book on your own. A parent or legal guardian must consent to and remain present for any session provided to a minor.

Wellness in Motion provides therapeutic massage and related wellness services, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, along with add ons such as cupping and red light therapy. Services are provided by a licensed massage therapist in Washington State.

Massage therapy is complementary care. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a physician, and we do not diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or perform spinal adjustments. See Disclaimers below.

• Appointments can be booked online, by phone at (509) 230-4581, or by email at info@wellnessinmotionspokane.com.
• Booking is handled through a third party scheduling platform. Reserving a time may require a card on file, and that platform's own terms apply to the booking itself.
• Prices listed on this site are current at the time of posting and may change. The price confirmed at booking is the price you pay.
• Payment is due at the end of your session unless it was collected at booking. Gratuity is always optional and never expected.
• We do not bill insurance. If you plan to submit for reimbursement, ask for a receipt and confirm coverage with your insurer first.

Because each appointment is time reserved just for you, we ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Cancelled with 24 hours notice or more: no charge.
• Cancelled with less than 24 hours notice: up to 50 percent of the session price may be charged.
• Missed with no notice: up to 100 percent of the session price may be charged.

Life happens. Illness, weather, and emergencies are handled case by case, and we would always rather you stay home and rest than come in unwell.

We reserve the right to decline future bookings after repeated late cancellations or missed appointments.

Please arrive a few minutes early, especially for a first visit, so there is time to complete intake forms. Session times include a short setup and dressing period.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to give you the full experience, but the session may need to end at its scheduled time so the next guest is not delayed. The full price still applies.

You agree to give accurate and complete health information, including injuries, medical conditions, medications, allergies, and pregnancy, and to tell us about any change before each session. Some conditions make massage unsafe, so this information keeps you protected.

You may adjust or withdraw consent at any moment. Pressure, technique, draping, areas of focus, music, and conversation are all yours to direct, and you may end a session at any time for any reason. Draping is used throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.

How we handle the information you share is described in our Privacy Policy.

This is a professional therapeutic practice. Any sexual solicitation, suggestive remark, or inappropriate behavior will end the session immediately, the full price will be charged, and services will be refused going forward. Serious incidents are reported to law enforcement.

We also ask that you arrive free of intoxication and treat the studio and everyone in it with respect. We may decline or end a session when it would not be safe or appropriate to continue.

• Gift certificates are transferable but cannot be redeemed for cash.
• They are treated as gift certificates under Washington law and do not expire, though any promotional bonus value attached to one may.
• Prepaid packages and series are non refundable once a session has been used, and the standard cancellation policy applies to each appointment within them.
• Lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting, or its booking system.
• Interfere with the site with scrapers, bots, malware, or excessive automated requests.
• Submit false information, or book appointments you do not intend to keep.

We may suspend or restrict access to the site or to booking if these terms are broken.

The text, photography, logo, and design on this site belong to Wellness in Motion or to the photographers and designers who licensed them to us. You may view, share, and print pages for personal, non commercial use. You may not copy, republish, resell, or use our photography or branding elsewhere without written permission.

If you send us a review, testimonial, or photo, you give us permission to share it on this site and on social media with your first name and last initial. Tell us any time you would like it removed and we will take it down.

Parts of this site rely on outside providers, including our online scheduling and payment platform, our web host, and any map or social media content we embed. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Links to other websites are offered for convenience only and are not an endorsement.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Information here is general and educational. The site is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, Wellness in Motion and its owner, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct. Personal belongings brought to the studio remain your responsibility.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, and you agree to that venue.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

We may update these terms as the practice grows or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and continuing to use the site or book a session after an update means you accept the revised terms.
